Still Life with Helen Oh Session

During the eleven week term, each student works on two paintings in a layered technique. Each session starts with a lecture and demo; Helen selects Dutch and Italian paintings and discusses their particular layering and glazing methods.

Copying Master Paintings with Helen Oh Session

The class begins with drawing and a discussion of possible images that students might wish to copy. After approval from the instructor, students will paint from prints or digital images of old master work. The course focuses on analyzing composition, paint handling techniques and procedures. This class is limited to seven students. Open to all levels.
